My latest ‘I should work it out myself but I will ask for others’ experience anyway’ question is... The inside of my air intakes are a little dirty and have some surface rust that will need some preventative treatment and I would also like to think about freshening up the bits I can see with paint at least. I do have a tin of rustoleum paint in matching colour Here are a couple of pictures of what I can see and then a peek into the grungy depths down the snorkel. What has your approach been to getting in or up there and treating or painting? Thanks
I used various wire wheels/brushes welded to a rod, in a cordless drill to get off the loose stuff. Then Rustoleum and a long handled radiator roller to paint the inside.
