Slide the rubber air collars up the leads until they stop pushing the leads out of the tinware.

    Simples ftfy.

Had this exact issue a while back with Talylor Spiro Pro silicone leads.
So I looked at the problem, solved it with a bit of pushing the collars up the leads and they stay put perfectly now, after initially losing a cylinder at 65mph on the A3 as the lead unclipped.
The trick was the instructions were for an SP engine where it is possible to get the collars iniside the tinware. On my DP engine theres too much manifold in the way...

  5. I’d buy NGK next time ;)

Obvious, but are you sure the plug caps are pushed right on to the plug terminals?

Ok been having a play with these this afternoon
Ive found that if i put them on my old plugs they stay on.
But put them on the new plugs they jump off within an hour.
So the next thig is i got a cloth soaked in panel degreaser and shoved it inside twisting back & forth then left to dry off.
And they stay on after this.

Ive also been in touch with cool air they said they've not had any problems with them.
They also offered me a refund.

  9. That's interesting, I wish you had showed me that before. I have been trying to find that sort of lead for while, you need to trim them for a dual port, but once on, they fit really well. Drop of silicon grease in the cup too

I'll try and get a photo if my old ones, bear in mind my dual port on the Bug has rather large manifolds Oooh errr

  12. I've always used them. You hear mixed reports of the Bosch India ones.

  13. Cut the rubber shield/cover down. I'll need to get a photo, but can't do it until Monday.

Ok, send them back. May I suggest the Spiro Pro, sir. Even survive being surrounded by flames...

Dint forget original Bosch leads clip on with the little screw on caps on the plugs removed, leaving a screw thread that is firmly gripped. The Taylor leads grip the cap ..

  18. Please, bear in mind, my Bug, which this lead was from, doesn't exactly have standard twin port manifolds. Once on, however, these leads stay on
