AA spam mail

  1. Woke up this morning to see a mail from the AA to say "You've successfully changed your password if you didn't make this change, please call us on 03301028095"
Being of a suspicious nature I rang the AA on a different customer service line and it is a spam mail so do not ring that number.

I tried to sign in on the real AA website and it seems that they may have a problem. The telephone number that comes up though is the same as the email which seems strange.

I got an email from the AA  saying it was their error and incorrectly sent out the message.

  12. I'm not a member of the AA ... but with all these companies if I have any concerns I tend to go back and look at old emails to check the format ... usually the most telling is they don't start addressed to you.
