  3. i get just over 53 ltrs in mine ..
i can usually get about 200 miles on that - but its a 1641 engine - richard yours is 2ltr so a bit more hungry on the fuel ..

i never fill it right up any more after the petrol expanded in the heat and scarred the van - it was then i realised the fuel breather pipes were not connected and its got an early tank in it!

  4. This thread sounds familiar - I cant fit more than £50 in my tank must be small probably about 40ish ltrs - I get about 200ish miles from a tank ful. I always brim it because its such a small soddin tank!!!aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaghh , Drive at between 55-60 and you get more mpg, but 65 and it starts to drink - dont even talk about 70!

Sorry dude a tank hold 56 litres which equals 12.5 gallon - 193 divded by 12.5 equals 15.44 mpg , depends how much you put in and have left in your tank .

I 'm not trying to upset you or Stu but at the figures you gave thats the reality --

    what do i know , i can't even fit a cv boot clamp :-[ :-[ :-[

    Oooh? :D

  9. Doesn't brimming it push fuel through those dodgy breather pipes? (Or at least let it slop into them?

That’ll be it then, don’t brim it the 3/4 gallon in the pipe will run out of the breather and ruin the calcs. Well done that man
