  4. It looks like a county Cork Reg from around 1960? probably won't be on the databases for congestion charge etc.:thumbsup: Most of the classics here seem to come from the UK these days.

  11. I doubt it, I usually end up having to take both vans to get all the setting up the show stuff in lol
    You never know though, DVLA might have gone through their whole "we lost your docs" charade and registered it by then.

    Currently standard 1200 sidevalve converted to 12 volt.

    My Grandad had one when we were kids in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s. We hated it! And my mum had an Anglia too, we didn’t like that much more! We preferred Dad’s mk1 Cortina.

  15. @Gingerbus - I guess when that was your only means of getting somewhere it was pretty rustic being a 50s design in a world that 15 years later had put creature comforts into cars :)

    More like 20-25 years later for my childhood. It was extremely dated by then, but clearly these cars represented affordable transport for the masses in their time.
