a freebie on the jk website

  1. I use JK as they are only down the road from me

    30% of the time I get given the wrong parts
    40% of the time I get stuff that doesnt fit

    30% of the time I am happy with my purchases - saying that you cant really go wrong buying something as generic as motor oil!
     
  2. Seen them heater leavers at vanfest wern't they giving them away free with every packet of sweets you bought.

    I bought some window winders in their tent £3 for 2 went to another place to find them for £1 each.
     
  3. No bad experiences so far with JK, it's a shame that they are now being put down by people over a whole load of other product issues when this thread was about a clerical error which has now been put right.

  11. What I was going to say Mangobay I'm making a fresh batch of pasta in a minute, perhaps I can knock a few heater leavers up for you out of the dough.
    Will they be any better, they might taste better!

    You can't please all of the people, all of the time. Thats life.

    Some of the stuff they sell is undoubtably pony, some of its fine. I've never had a problem returning anything if its been no good.

    the exhaust i bought from them is exellent. had some real tripe off them. jk are ok for what they are and in general they have all the bits we need. i'd like to see them take notice of the quality of some of their stuff though.

    but their aftersales dept is good, never needed to argue and their delivery has never let me down

  19. Well it's a good thing JK isn't over here. U.S. law states that whatever price is market on an item is what the customer pays, error or not. Every company is responsible for proper pricing.
    People are always trying to peel price tags off of cheap items and stick them on the good stuff over here.
    Or you say, "But this full length fur was in the bottom of the 75% off bin! I wish to speak to the manager." 8)
    Well that would be pushing it but it works on good bed sheets. ::) or so I've heard. *cough-cough*
     
  20. I'm sure the same is here although Internet shopping may have different laws.

    I bought a starter motor off JK and it lasted all of about 12 starts before dying, some of you may remember my issues from a previous thread. Anyway, called them up and explained and they collected it the next day for testing "to see if it's dead" and get a refund. 2 weeks later still heard nothing, due a call to chase up.
