I have done a bit of plumbing as the washing machine pipe was leaking a bit and the water was shooting back up the drain when the machine emptied and weting the grout around the tiles. I will be testing for leaks tomorrow and reporting back. After the Chelsea match of course. Or maybe during it if things go badly.
Do Australian plumbing regs stipulate that a snake and spider trap must be fitted to the cold water feed on the dunny?
No, it's de rigueur to have at least one of each species in your dunny ( especially if the dunny is outside ).
What are the ends connected to @Luca? We must know! Have you really got a drain that runs under your kitchen floor?
It's like the condensed books you used to get from Readers Digest, there's lots of bits left out but you can still understand what's going on in the story.
The photograph is in the conservatory. The drain used to be outside the house and is now inside. The washing machine pipe is fed through the door frame of what was the garage door (now my workshop) and into my new plumbing invention. Interested readers will note that this pipe is my first photograph to the Late Bay website. Yes as well as newly developed skills in plumbing I have also mastered digital photography. I am bored with plumbing now although would be willing to help Alex out if she gets a bit stuck.
