Hia, I've been writing a blog about this but thought I'd share with some like-mindeds http://emilysearlyretirement.blogspot.com Basically I've quit my job and am broadly planning: - 6 months driving and camping round Europe (I started last week) with a flight to Japan in March - 6 months working in Australia - A tour of Canada The sad fact is that I'll probably have to sell the bus after the first 6 months in order to fund the rest of it... but no future's set in stone - we'll see what happens ^-^ It's been a slightly lumpy start but of course the joy of touring in a bus is that you take your home with you, so whatever happens I'm always perfectly happy to roll with it.
i've always wanted to drive round the u.k staying as close to the coast as possible so your trip is gonna be fun to follow, i'm sure you'll love and hate your bus by the end but i hope you don't haave to sell it though.
i know its not quite the same thing but this book is about a single persons travel experiences , he's a friend and i know how he planned and enjoyed it , good luck i have bookmarked your blogspot . http://www.cycleuktochina.com/Introduction.htm
Well, I've now officially spent more of my camping holiday away from the camper than with it. Ho hum - in Poitiers now (in a hotel ). Futuroscope tomorrow!
