Trading feedback from classified ads

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Joker, Mar 12, 2012.

  1. Is there any way to provide feedback to a private individual for transactions made in the classified adverts? I know we have 'karma' but that doesn't quite capture it does it?

I guess word of mouth is a good starting point...perhaps a "trusted trader" button on sponser profiles with a + for good, trustworthy traders and a - button for unreliabel rip off merchants?

  3. Think that would be a good idea although most are ok on here apart from that bloke from hairyfoot lol
Defo no worse than people on fleabay

  4. There is a trader add-on script for the forum, Admin, which lets you leave feedback and rating. Much in the style of fleabay.

ok jokes aside it is a good idea. the karma function would work though as you put in a description of why it is + or -
if you click on username you can see that persons comments.

or do you mean it's not clear as a trading feedback thing in general?

  19. On a previous forum I was on, (with the same forum base as this one), there was a similar thing they called trade score, which allowed you to add one to a user each time they sold you something that you were happy with. anyone could then click on it and see what they had sold.

Worked well as you only got a point if the buyer was happy.

Conversely, they also had one for the buyer as well so that the seller was happy they would be a good buyer.

Well I've just rattled on for a few sentenses when all I need to say was, I agree with bodyrock...
