Hi all, been around a while but not uploaded any pics but been having some work done. I was going to do it all myself, assembled all the panels etc but with MG's coming out of the workshop I really didn't have time so sent it off to the camper hospital. Hope you like the pics
Whilst having the front arches done we discovered that she had had a shunt on the front NS so bad that the door didn't close properly now a genuine arch had been put in so nothing else for it but a new front!
nice work ......had to do pretty much the same repairs on mine! ;D any more progress lately? K+ for a new reto thread ...........did I hear you meantion MG's ;D ..........my MG has been off the road since the beginning of the year
Thanks! thought this had dropped off with not much more than a whimper! MG's and Triumph's are my main passion and I run a small restoration business. Problem is I have no time for fixing the bus myself and so had to get it fixed rather than have it off the road. Will post more pics of the finished but unpainted bus.
looks like they are doing a great job ..........I love MG's .........if only I could afford another one but got to restore the 'B' first ;D .....................then save up for an MGA ......then another air cooled ;D
Started to put her back together. They are just putting enough on to make her drivable then she's coming home!
Thanks for the comments guys. Now comes the dilema - we were going to put the old westy interior back but painted purple as the PO had painted it yellow. The re-spray was just supposed to have put protection on all the new metalwork but they have done such a great job that I think that route will just spoil her. Now thinking of a new interior with 3/4 R&R which will mean we have a full width good condition bed going and most of the westy furniture which is not in idea condition. Do people think there is any value in it?
