My bus (Aug '72 Continental) has a disconnected cable from the engine bay to a connecting busbar in the cupboard below the drop down cooker and then on to the drivers seat belt fixture . It's the heaviest cable on the bus heavier than the starter motor cable. It's not connected to anything in the engine bay but because it's black and joins to a cable that runs to the drivers side seat belt fixing I guess it's an earth what's for? Any value in keeping /Connecting it?
Haven’t seen that on my Feb ‘73 continental. Perhaps it was a DIY 240v install earth of sorts to the metalwork. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
DIY 73 continental's electric was confined a single fluorescent light in the rear on the main battery via a switch on the dash. Or an OTT earth to make the cooker spark.
