'73 Devon Bay - long resto

Discussion in 'Restorations' started by salad.dodger2, Sep 4, 2011.

  1. Owned since 2006, driven for only a few months until i decided to lay her up and complete a resto.

This didnt go to plan as work dried up and i then had an accident which wrecked my back so put me out of action.
I got back into work only to wreck my back again. The bus has been in a garage since 2007.

I started work on her again this year but didnt get to much done as i was having treatment for a blood problem.
I plan on slowly getting on with the work, mainly the bottom 10 inches, respray and engine build.

Not a bad bus really and can be sorted fairly easy i think. Just the money to do it.

  8. Any updates dude?
I hope your health has improved

  9. Hi, the update is:

    Nothing :(

Been back and forth to hospital and still got another 2 month of treatment to do which should hopefully change the treatment to once a month.

In the mean time the daily is costing me time and money what with a misfire and over fueling issue also the exhaust has decided to blow, and the headlining fell off hahahahaaa

So im gonna concentrate on the daily as i need it for treatment visits. 2012 with see the bus back on the road - i have to do it, i have all the bits except the front arches

    :-
