Hi, the search continues for a reasonible LHD 72 bay window, I posted a Thread titled 'looking for kapet' on here with no results, im not after a fully restored bus as im trying to reproduce the camper I onced owed 16 years ago to suprise my wife next year. Any help finding something that is reasonable priced and min of a rolling shell (hopefully with some sort of engine) I would be greatful Thank you for reading this
have you looked on earlybay or the samba? 72 is the last of the earlies/crossover so there's usually some on there.
No im pritty new at the internet search thingy, I was an Ebay watcher but nothing seem to come up that I was looking for or if it did the bids on it got stupid. thank you though ill have a look tonight
with wanting lhd it would make sense to import yourself a rust free one - it's easy to do, shout up if you want, loads of us have.....
thank you again, i am abit scared of importing as you don't know what you bought until it arrives and with the rust thing not really bothed as its part and parcel of owning one lol
you buy from proven sellers who send you pictures of any area you want rather than from a private seller, there's a few guys on here who import if you get stuck, talk to @Graham Lyall who owns midland prototype bay he will source you a 72
I wouldn't mind a RHD but the original bus that I had was LHD, it was the late rear lights as I reversed into a wall and had to change the lense, but can't remember if the front was like, but I do prefer the lower lights
