Hi everyone (please see pics below) So i own a Jurgens Autovilla but need to transport my little boy and wife together. I obviously don't want to sit them in the aluminium back whilst travelling so need them up front. A few weeks ago I bought a twin passenger seat which will need upholstering to match my current seat EXPENSIVE! The problem is........ I really like the existing configuration (walk through and condition of current seats) I know that in the past Bluebird did filler kits but does anyone have an ingenious way of installing a temporary middle passenger seat (safely?) Any help/suggestions would be most appreciated. Please see pics and you will understand why I want to keep existing configuartion.......
The middle seat option bluebird did was a repro of a vw option. It did, or does, rely on there being walkthrough bulkhead to bolt it too. Any option you chose will be difficult to provide appropriate support for. A simple seat pad isnt difficult and a hinged back also easy to arrive at but how to lock into position?
yeah no bulkhead :-( Would the twin seat I have bought be easy enough to fit? Just a shame I feel as really like the look of it now! Thanks
If you have no bulk head you can fit a swivel bench seat (think that's what there call) but not cheap..there's A company that reproduces them I've forgotten then name but @davidoft kindley pointed them out.
