My first ever “producer” was for getting mine on 2 wheels 5 up on a roundabout.

I worked out that if you floored it about 50 yards before a bend, it would accelerate coming out of the bend as it took that long for the engine to spin up, like the laggiest turbo ever. It took a few drivers by surprise at how quick it was shifting :D

In 1985 for my first car I was offered a Dyane for £80 and a Morris Marina for £100. I took the Marina as it had less moss growing on it and was only 10 years old. Still provided quality experience like learning to drive (rear wheel drive more fun) on ice in winter 1986.

chances are the Marina had more moss growing inside it than outside due to the damp...... I had a 1300 Ital and the water the boot held made it look like a boating marina every time I opened it.

  5. We had a 2cv and the best thing was you unbolted the seats and you could sleep on the floor. It was our first campervan.
