Just aim to be happy every day, get pleasure how ever you can Could you drop the job to 4 days a week and enjoy even more time away in the camper van (whilst still being able to pay the mortgage etc)
The last employer i offered to work reduced hours for then made me redundant ... I don't think the MD liked the fact that I could live on a lesser salary when he still needed to work every hour to fund his lifestyle.
