looking really nice matey, I must say the seat on the right goes for me - its the three highlighted stripes in the stitiching which does it!

  2. Good Job Phil, ;) you have been working so hard on it, and im very proud :D but i think your forgetting something....... SAM has also learnt to sew..... the curtains are done and ready to be hung, also the tie backs, and debating whether to make cusion covers and matching bags for the tie backs for extra storage, that is all, peace out, lol so much going on all the time, with work the van and Grace getting lots of bugs inbetween, i am very much looking forward to going out in it yayyy go Phil!!

Looking good PSG, keep the updates coming.

I'll be setting about the upholstery in mine soon, got the machine, got the right needles, got some scraps of leather, watched lots of youtube vids, and a skilled friend has offered to give me some pointers and lessons before I take the plunge on the real thing.

  4. @Kruger,

Good luck with the upholstery, ita a plunge worth taking.

getting involved now on a budget. But hopefully it will look mint, did loads today, just the worktop, but need to find a hob to fit first.

Watch this space for how to interiorise on a budget..

I like the simplicity of your interior Phil, it looks great. No pics of the headliner so I guess you've not done it yet?

  18. there are also some flush(ish) aluminum handles to be fitted and a 2 burner lpg hob. Im about to tackle the electrics for the leisure battery, only running the fridge, i figure keep it simple, battery powered lights will do just fine, and after all its going to be light up til about half ten for the forseeable month anyway. Got the 240 hook up unit all ready to go, it has two 240 plug sockets integrated so if we are hooked up, then i have lights on the unit and plugs for the fridge and then whatever else.
