SOLD Reluctant sale of my 1973 t2 VW camper van: Insured for £12k - I'll consider all offers 1600cc air-cooled engine that's covered less than 20k miles. Manual. 3/4 Rock and roll bed. Right hand drive. Petrol. Pop Top. 2 Hobs and sink. Seatbelts in the back and front. Tax Exempt. Roof rack. I have owned since 2012 since then I have: New alternator Full stainless steel exhaust (including heat exchangers so heating works whilst driving) New wheels + pirelli tyres have travelled less than 1k miles Saab leather seats with full seatbelts Full brake overhaul (2017) As the van is over 40 years old it's MOT exempt however it's last MOT was 2017 and at this point the garage overhauled the full brake system. I have hardly used the van since then - hence the sale. I have loads of old receipts + they show that a reconditioned engine was installed less than 20,000 miles ago - the engine is in good condition and runs nicely. The stainless exhaust note sounds good, not too ridiculously loud but sounds a bit stronger than stock.
