FOR SALE 1973 Richard Holdsworth "SOLD"

  1. For sale is our 1973 Richard Holdsworth.
She is a amazingly sound and rust free bus, which I imagine must have only been driven in good weather and garaged, as there are only signs of surface rust on the inner arches and the underside. All the areas which tend to hold water like the rear corners and the deformation panel are also very good.
She is a joy to drive with precise steering and a gear selection, which you don't need a passenger to help you with.

I have been looking into Holdsworth conversions and think her interior is pretty much original apart from 1 unit may have been removed. The interior has a double burner/grill, sink, chiller, buddy seat, loads of storage and the easiest bed to put up I have seen in a bus.
She also has the original pull out step, pop top is original and is the style which Devon adopted.
The additional chassis strengthening is there and is great condition.

She came with a file of receipts and MOTs going back to the 80,s, plus a passport, which you would have used if you had issues while abroad, which I think is a cool bit of VW literature and I have never seen before.
There are also notes from the first owner who had her till 2000.

Since owning her I have had a new coat of L50K Neptune blue put on her, as some old paint repairs did not match very well.
I have also changed the door cards and put new seat covers on. I still have the old door cards, but they are a bit warped in places.
She is obviously wearing non standard wheels, but the standard ones will be included in the sale.

Generally this is a very sound UK camper, which hasn't had a hard life.
Feel free to ask any question and I am looking for £14,750 ovno.
    Thanks for looking Andy
