  1. hi all,

Thought this day would not come but I have, i repeat HAVE, to sell my camper. I have my first kiddy on the way and as usual need the money to set things up.

Its a 1973 late bay which I have done alot of work too. This bus is fully on the road, its mot'd till april and taxed till end oct. I have had it for four years and it has never been off the road. This bus is a seriously good runner! It has not broken down on me once... no lies not once. i have taken it to santa pod numerous times as well as on holidays across the uk. it was also my wedding car......another reason i dont want to sell!

Since buying it i have stripped out the interior and replaced it with madmatz tiled floor, Full width rock n roll bed with storage underneath, all new interior door cards and rock n roll upholstered foams all matching. It has one cabinet which i store all i need in. i have also got madmatz cab floor mat/walkthrough/kick panels and door cards all matching and trust me these look awesome. I also had madmatz make me a matching carpet for the parcel shelf/engine bay top which again looks great. The pop top roof is in good condition and has no leaks at all.

Over the years i have had allsorts done underneath. New outriggers, inner arches, jacking points. It has also been lowered by Quayside Vw's in plymouth and rides low without being impractical. The guy who lowered it at the garage commented that its the best riding low bay he has driven. I had the shocks upgraded to make the ride better also. The bus rolls on empi 5's with four basically new tyres.

When i bought the bus it was in White over primer grey and i love this look. It was originally yellow(i have pictures) but i have kept it and touched up when needed.

The only bad part about this bus is that some of the bodywork is a bit tatty. generally the bus looks great but on the drivers side lower quarter it has begun rusting away. It also shows signs of some bubbling rust spots. I personally have not been too bothered by this as its never stopped me doing anything with the bus and is not an mot failure.

Im going to be gutted when this bus gets driven off but it has to be done. i hope this bus goes to a new home where they get as much joy as me from it.

The bus is in plymouth, i have the V5, Its price is £5500 and i think its well worth it. Call me on 07817758468 or email on jaystuart82@hotmail.co.uk and leave a message if you wanna talk/view/buy.

I can email pics if you wanna see it

    many thanks

    Jamie
