Got an almost complete westy project for sale. Complete very good Continenal interior with original cushions and matching curtains in yellow. (rear foam had alternative cover on it) No engine Pop top has been removed but i have tacked in a steel sliding sunroof section to keep the rain out, this give you the option of easily turning it into a tin top by simply continuing the welding, or buying another pop top on and pinging out the section i have put in. Brakes are fine (it failed the mot on rust and nothing else) Very good tyres Rust then, not as bad as all that, it will need outer sill (and inners really) rear corners rear outer arches (inners are fine) N/s front arch rear valence and crossmember bottom of sliding door cab doors (may repair if your keen) repair to front panel (new one probably easier) local repair to box section of chassis under battery tray, rest of chassis is fine cab floor mat (it has been removed since these snaps were taken) Im sure there are other bits but that is what i can remember It drove really well, steering has no issues and box is fine So there you are, easy projet if your handy with the welder. Being a 72 it must be one of the first of the square bumper busses as it still retains the prototype bay dash, fuel flap etc making it a candidate for putting earlier front arches and bumpers on and turning it into a cross over (if that floats your boat!) £1700 ono (advertised for more elsewhere so grab a bargain!) (pics of interior will follow tonight, my camera ran out of batteries)
