1972 SCOOBY BLUE

Discussion in 'Restorations' started by scoobyblue72, Sep 12, 2012.

  1. Just got Scooby Blue back from Fellows Speed shop. Nearly there with a two year total rebuild project. Started from bare metal shell...fitted Cossy rad which ate piston barrells (my wallet) combined with Lotus exhaust also created too much heat in back end! Changed gear box to 6 rib and had Fellows under rad conversion and some shiny tin ware on the Scooby! Took him out for first major run and first proper show...went all the way from Sheffield to Bus Fest...fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. ScoobyBlue, seriously now, how did you get that slight drop on your front end? Did you fit a custom beam or something? Your bus sits very nicely, not too low.

  17. My brother in law runs Renegade Speedsters over in Norwich, he manufactures his own drop spindles...plus smaller Boxters on the front, larger on the rear. Can go lower...but I like it like this!
