  9. cheers guys. no video yet. the mot is due this month and will be the first one for this bus with the porsche engine.

currently trying to fix it all up and connect things together.

really struggling to the get the two gearbox bolts to the bellhousing hanger on. I have to install the engine and gearbox as one because the size of the engine doesnt allow me to pull the engine off the gearbox insput shaft before hitting the valance. i have done it a few times, but can remember my method. i've tried jacking the gearbox put at this point but still cant get it started. i can get the hole lines up to get the bolt in, but cant seem to get the thread started. i think i will loosen off the bellhousing to engine bolts and see if that will give me enough play.

  17. that's one seriously good looking bus dude :praise:

  18. well i managed to get the gearbox bolted into the hanger last night - meaning that i could fit the driveshafts...hear that, driveshafts. that means i'm definitely close now :)

i'm glad i checked to see if the gearbox rebuilder put oil in the box cos it was empty. i initially thought...what a cheap skate after i spent £1200+ with him. then i thought, oil could spill in convoy so i forgave him :)

now only 10 things on the ToDo list before MoT :)
