A lot of USB adaptors plug in to the standard 12V socket almost flush anyway, no need for 'special' USB sockets.
Seems like a great idea. The mains socket in this panelling was originally continental spec fitted by Westfalia. I swapped it to a single uk spec socket. It's always seemed a bit flimsy.
