Hi there looking to put a 12 volt socket in my van for my sat nav where's the best place to wire it in to crap with wireing thankyou
Didn't want to go from leisure battery as I haven't got a split charger fitted at mo was going to run it from a live wire from the ignition
Any switched ignition live or any permanent live form the fuse box. It doesn't really matter which. If you go for ignition live you can make sure you don't flatten your battery by leaving your satnav connected all the time. The earth can be connected anywhere on the body work.
Straight from the fuse box with a hefty wire, just in case you get tempted to plug something else into it
