Look on the bright side, paying that money means that we can drive on smooth, non potholed roads.

  14. OK I"ll oblige ,"Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha............." I
love it when at the post office asking for my FREE tax disc ,they ask "6 months or 12?" <decisions ,decisions..

  15. Was feeling smug about my FREE van tax but the smile evaporated when my daily drive (only a Saab for God's sake) cost me £485 for twelve months!!!

  16. That"s some sort of joke i ain"t gettin ,Taipan ,right ? if it is not ,how can it be one 28th of wot i paid for my 1st flat? (flat as in apartment ,not tyre)

I'm going to get a car trailer, that way I can SORN the camper and use my daily drive to tow it to the campsites. Win win. Tax on one vehicle only and still get the benefits of a camper when I get there. :)
I think it might even be more economical to tow it with a 2ltr diesel than drive it itself.

  19. get a pre 1960 rolla bob then you can still have the pleasure of using a bit of fuel but no tax or mot ta worry about .;)

I would but a roller is a bit to ostentatious for me, I'm very shy.
