FOR SALE Early-bay crew cab for sale

  1. Posting this up on behalf of my brother in law. It's advertised on early-bay as well but if you have any questions I can pass along his details or try and answer them.

Reluctantly selling my crewcab due to a new business venture. Sept 1967 so one of the earliest around. Very solid underneath and just been treated to keep it that way.

I have owned since it was shipped into the UK from California around 3 years ago. Had a reconned engine fitted, new front panel, wheels, brake lines, sills, battery, seals, alloys, painted etc. Work carried out by Midland Painteerks and Johnson Autoworks so very good standard.

6 seater with special harnesses shipped in from the states for the two centre seats as didn't want our kids with just lap belts.

    12 months Mot.

    Drivers seat needs repair.
Internally it is a blank canvas as haven't done door cards, roof lining etc.
brakes squeaking at the minute so may need looking at

    DM me if interested. Cheers

    £14,000 ono

  3. Not wishing to ******* on any parades too much, but I'd say that's a conservative £5k over price for the bay doka market at the mo in my insignificant and humble opinion. That said I'm wrong about the majority of stuff I think I'm right about so good luck with the sale!

  4. Thanks for your input. When you see th waiting for import with rot for $15k + shipping + taxes + work to get it on the road its all relative

  5. It is indeed. Pickups are deffo gaining in popularity recently but seem to be topping out around the 9k mark for the gooduns from what I've seen. Being a super early will surely help though. Hope you can squeeze as many beans as possible out of it. For what it's worth I love it!

  7. Looks like I got a bargain with mine !!!
Is it time to sell ????

  8. True pickups are gaining popularity I put mine up to test the waters but chickened out but had several good offers without anyone seeing it and contact details if I do decide to sell.
Still might part with it in six months Fingers crossed we will have a narrowboat by next march so even less time to use it.

  9. Yours has the magical Split factor going for it though ;) Oh and the fact is was both gert and lush all at once!

  10. I think a lot of it is down to the chicken tax. Nowhere near as many ended up in the US so as a result it is hard to find one that isn't rotten. Also the fact they are workhorses means a lot were used, abused and scrapped.
