The only ones surprised were those woken up at 6am by the Swiss police and the FBI . They'll all hire expensive lawyers and drag it out for years, unfortunately...
It's fun listening to the public reactions of the big FIFA sponsors feining indignation and surprise while "monitoring the situation via contact with FIFA". It must be awful for them, not having had an inkling, to find it's their money being used for bribery and corruption. This must be a whole new area for the likes of MacDonalds, how will they cope?
