welded.... cut up ,re-welded ...changed my mind ......and finally welded up again .....still not 100% happy with it and wished Id made one from scratch rather than modified one ..... its not nice welding something that's contaminated with old oil as aluminium needs to be super clean to weld nice ......but a coat of paint and it will be fine

its all pretty close ..had to put a cut out and remake the SC support bracket
    [IMG]
as it stands now ...a massive amount of work to make and add the charge cooler.....very tight and had to remake all the intake pipework ...still tons of work to do

  5. air intake temperature sensor fitted .......I have to find somewhere to stick a dump valve aswell

cylinder head temperature sensor fitted ..its a modified water cooled one ....attached to cylinder 3 using heat transfer paste and a bolt obviously.......

MAP sensor .......I will take a feed off each throttle body barrel in to a small box then one feed from that into the MAP sensor .....

Absolute respect for the purity of your engineering skill and execution.

  9. If its any help the Small type 4 aluminium fanhousing flaps Heritage sell are mine ....
    Thanks for the comments .

  10. Yeah....you've really let yourself down there Lhu....;)
    We want more....:D

  11. You could tee-off from this y section for a dump valve (recirculating one could be fun to plumb in though!!) vent to atmos has to be the way forward though!!!

  12. was going to go for split re-circ and atmosphere ....was also going to stick it on the side of the charge cooler

  13. I had a chat with speed shop about their trigger wheel and suggested they machine another keyway so it can be used with megajolt and edis....they weren't interested....missed a trick there i reckon....
    looks like you're makingheadway...

  14. Slowly ...just realised I bought the wrong spark plugs need to be register type .....can't decide where to mount the coils ! And still working on suitable injectors ..... There is a lot to it

  15. What coil are you using? Not thought about COP?

  16. Coils .....one per plug LS2 's .....just got to figure out where to put them .... What's the advantage of COP

  17. Cop is coil on plug... Essentially what you are doing, just without the HT leads

  18. This looks badass, awesome fabrication skills.

I'm about to megasquirt my stock type 4 and have one of those trigger wheel setups from mario at thedubshop.net I don't suppose you could let me know where you got the cylinder head temp sensor from could you??

I'm going with denso pencil coils from a suzuki gsxr600 as I've seen a couple of projects on thesamba and shoptalk using them although the LS2's seem to be the way a lot of people go and you don't have to build your own coil drivers.

    good luck!
