Hi anybody else have converted panrl van that has the metal surrounds on their windows? All I see are just rubber? Our has metal?!
They're different, flat glass in a curved panel, I'd like to see them out , surprised they don't leak, looks like the rubbers struggling to cope!!
I have a sliding window in my door with that frame on it, thought it was just because it was a slider, the rest of the windows are normal panel conversion glass
No, I think I understand how they work now, I guess the glass is flat but the frame is curved, would be easier to see if they weren't installed is what I meant.
Ours has them. Back side windows are sliding, which leak terribly. Cant seem to find the right gasket/seals for them anywhere. I read somewhere that people paint the chrome trim black. Is yours a panel van danbury conversion?
Hi it has a Danbury roof so I'm guessing so but we thought self build as inside seemed amateur .. Can you attach pics of yours.. That is exactly what's happening to our back sliding window ...
Phones playing up but ill post some pics when I get home to the pc after work. Did yours still have the danbury plywood interior with cooker in the seat and little sink. I removed ours as it was tatty but kept the sink and cooker as well as a overhead cupboard to sell.
