Arraldite that when you put it back together, it'll last for years..........

  3. Thankfully ive sourced another case:)
Im going to hide that one in the village bonfire at the end of the year:weak:

It ran fine though the only problem that showed was a slight leak from the flywheel oil seal

  5. That's about 1mm if memory serves

  6. 1.33mm

It made me think of this tune

I will have owned it ten years next autumn so thats my deadline to have it fully finished
Hopefully on the road by next spring:)

This is the longest ive owned any vehicle as i use to build them roll around for a month then sell them and start somthing else aswell as owning a few on the road toys at the same time

  8. I do, but that's not at the unit

I've still got some head scratching to do on the second carrier, but I've still got a load of stuff to move.. most importantly my lathe and mill, as I'll definitely need the lathe to finish off the carriers

  9. Thats ok then
Its just im missing a few things since the move and i needed the jack the other day
You know how it is over time i had it in my head that i still had it but then also had it in my head that you still had it:confused:

Is the clutch at the unit with the flywheel?

  10. @paradox I reckon you need a roof rack to go in front of your pop top, bit like @1973daisey new one

  14. I had half an hour on the van this morning whilst the little un was still asleep
Ive snapped a rear bleed nipple off and both brake unions are stuck in the rear brake cylinder
So i need two new cylinders probably
The brake backing plates need some attention and ive no idea of the condition of the inner rubber doughnuts on the suspension
The outers were knackerd so id imagine the inner ones will be just as bad

Theres no point doing half a job as it will come back to cause me hassle in the future when ill be using the van
So im going to strip the rear down and do it with the same amount of care the front got
It will also make access easier when i underseal the van

Wish me luck cracking the hub nuts

  16. Zed

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

    Worse probably.
God luck with the rear hub nuts, remember to crack those before anything else.

  17. I did all the front end before it went to paul
Whilst it was with paul i did all the stuff id took off
Whats left at the rear was what it needed to get on and off the trailer and for paul to be able to move the van around

  18. Well ive been beaten by the hub nuts already my largest socket is 36mm:mad:
What size is the hub nut?

  19. 46mm
