Shot-blasting

Can you have your dashboard shot blasted and powder coated ?

 

You could but it will need to be gentle, also it's pretty thin on top so may warp when coated

 

So just best get blasted then maybe rattle can it

 

Rattle can is to soft it will scratch easily, best to 2pack paint it

 

Powder coating will he fine, pretty sure @sANDYbAY has just had his done

 

Yup, and I'm very pleased with it, sandblasted then powder coated. I chose Matt black to prevent glare and it has a lovely soft sheen.

What's 2 pack paint?

 

Paint like cars are painted with, I prefer it to powder coat

 

I bare meteled mine with sander and wire brush good coat of prima and 2pac I like it !!

 

Rowmarts in Stourbridge I get mine from they make up the colour there and then can rattle can it for u

 

I did the old dash with a cup brush on the grinder took it right back to metal but I have a new 2 nd hand one that I might take into be blasted
