Oi you lot its Australia Day here.Captain Arthur Phillip and the First Fleet arrived in Sydney Harbour in 1788. Eleven ships, about 1100 people of whom about 750 were convicts.Only found out recently that granddad's great granparents were aboard.Convicted at Southwark court for nicking some lace and hankies.Got 7 years transportation.
I'd imagine @Terrordales is slumped on the sofa with a bottle in his hand, wearing nothing but his pants, as we speak
So Terrordales what are you doing this straya day?Its 32 degrees and about 90% humidity where I am.About to head off to local surf club for lunch.....
Went fishing on the lake this morning & now I'm avoiding the loonies who have wrapped themselves in flags & are all trying to be more patriotic than each other. Off for a couple of ales & lunch now, if we can find a quiet spot at the pub.
