Not bus related in anyway but has anyone been to Copenhagen. A mate got tickets to see noel Gallagher on st Patricks night next year 17th march . There is 4 lads going and none have been. I have heard that beer and drinks are a total rip off. Any tips would be great.
Nobody has mentioned Tivoli?? I live just over the Bridge outside Malmö,its also a nice city. 20 minutes from the airport by train. Give me a shout and we can have some beers?
I went there a couple of years ago on a friends stag weekend. We went to Christiana, swimming in the river and did the river cruise (with a hangover). Other wise it was pubs and bars but yes, the beer is pricey. The only other thing I remember is 13 of us dressed as Elvis going out through the streets. A good time but a pricey night out!
I took a mate over once for a day and he told me it gave him a pain in his neck? Apparently he had been rubber necking all day at the Danish babes....
Thank for the tips so far. Yes one of the lads defo wants to go Christiania for some of the combustible plants.....!!!!!! Bike defo sound like a good idea too. As the temp will be pretty cold I imagine in mid march I wanted to try and see as much as possible without freezing. Malmo might be worth a shot if time allows. Booked flights today for less than £50 each. Can't believe I got it this cheap but what a relief as I have more beer money now.
Went there in September, very disappointed, the only place I enjoyed was Nyhaven, but go outside the city and it is a fabulous country. If you stand too long in the city you will get sprayed with graffiti, it is everywhere, not good graffiti just pure vandalism. £10 for a beer, Carlsburg, there are better beers.
