I've had Elmo about 6 years - He came to me as a rotten 1.3 driver and is now a 1.4 16v AFH on bike carbs, so many little jobs to do but he's on the road and running nicely. Just had all new coilovers and top mounts, brake and fuel lines front to back and a new fuel pump and is incredible fun to drive!
Yeah it's from a 2001ish Polo, I was going to keep the injection from the Polo but decided to go the carb route for ease. I have to admit though, with the reliability of injection vs the fun of carbs- if I did it again it would be injection every time.
