Has anyone fitted a Propex Gas/Electric ?

  1. I'm going to buy one shortly - just need to know if it's a DIY proposition?

  4. Yea it's easy going. I fitted one about 3 months ago took me a couple of days to do it that's because I had to find a space to fit it and move my amps out the way as my 70ltr lpg tank sits under the rock n roll. Get the kit, then go on ebay and buy the hole cutters and any other fittings you might need. Then always once fitted get the old soapy water and check the fittings don't leak and make sure you keep the inlet and way from the outlet. It's mostly common sense.

    Get the gas/electric version if you use hookup quite a bit. I regret getting the gas only.

  8. It's not too difficult. I very done three fittings including a gas/electric in the Jurgens :thumbsup:
     
  9. As above an easy install. Top tip don't be tempted to shorten the air intake pipe ;)
