Before I got back into VW's some of my time was spent rescuing guitars! I can't play them but just enjoyed how the look and fixing them. So...here is an early Italia Marinello Classic Bass in red (or Salmon)!. It sounds great, but as you will see is not completely original. It came to me via a shop in Glasgow which went bankrupt, it was missing the Wilkinson bridge and the plastic plate on which the controls sit. So I added a standard bridge on an aluminium base and the same ali was used to fashion a control plate. Both original pieces can be purchased via GuitarTech (guitartech@jhs.co.uk) at a cost of around £75. It has Wilkinson pick ups, is unmarked and comes with a Harley Benton 80w amp - £230 ono This will be a cheap way of owning a wonderful guitar!! Pick up from Malvern, Worcs, pm me if interested!!
