Cotswolds Area

Hi

Following on from our previous thread, any recommendations for nice campsites or sensibly priced holiday caravans/cottages in the Cotswolds and surrounding area - quieter the better - with nice walks nearby, we are a family of 2 adults (supposedly), 2 children and 1 dog and plan to go during August.

Burford school - v small, ideal for the town

Bradwell grove - mile from Burford by the wildlife park

Bourton on the water - by a lake

Loads more, will need to think about it

 

I rented a cottage on a lake at Cotswold water park a few tears back. Very nice, quiet and reasonable too.

Burford School as said above - we stayed there very handy location - more like pitching up in a small garden!

 

Hayles fruit farm, really basic facilities but you can have a fire on your pitch and the farm is pyo soft and orchard fruit.

 

And 30 seconds from me and Keith H for repairs!
