Hi all I'm after a campingaz bottle with or without gas is fine.

Prefer if your local to Hemel.

Happy to swop with a 4.5kg calor gas bottle - which may have some gas left in it.

    Thanks

  2. You may be able to exchange it at a camping gaz supplier for a small charge I swapped a small camping gaz for a 907 size and it cost me £5. Alternatively a new one with gas is only about £25 in a lot of places. :)

  3. I picked my empty bottles up from the local rubbish tip/recycling place. They were happy to give them away. ;)

Wow that's not bad I went somewhere at the weekend and they wanted £65!!

  6. if not tip try a scrappy . Ive got one but your miles away .

  7. You have to find somewhere with an offer on I think otherwise the bottle is about £40 on its own. I don't see why they won't swap the larger calor bottle for smaller Campingaz one though. Is it that your current bottle is too big? The calor Butane bottles are the same gas as Campingaz.

    Thanks

They won't swap it due to being different brands also my calor is propane.

I think I want a 901 or 904 bottle, something small to run the propex.

If I had 'paperwork' then I could return the calor for a refund and then get the campingaz

  9. Ah right. You get better value refills with a 907 (which was why I upgraded my old 904) but if it is about space the others are obviously smaller. I read a while ago that they were phasing the 904 out.

Just bumping this up as still looking for a bottle.

    Thanks

  11. I'll have one you can nick at the weekend, I'll get some more when I'm in France as they're half the price.
I've also just seen someone filling 907's from a big Calor bottle. Not going into detail on here as the 'safety police' will be after me but he reckons £7 a refill!

  12. I've got 4, three of them have gas in, I expect at least one more will empty over the weekend.
