Crich 'Beetle Drive' 21st September??

God knows why they still call it beetle drive, as there are more vans go than Beetles now!!
Anyway, it SHOULD BE on Sunday 21st September at the Tramway Museum in Crich, Derbyshire - it's my most local show, so I always go...and it's on my birthday weekend - but I have just gone to get the link from their website, and it's not showing on there as an event??
I have just Tweeted them to ask if it's still on, but will probably give them a ring in the next day or 2 to check.

...so a bit of a pointless post really, but is anyone interested if it IS on?

 

No, I've been twice and it was shockingly dull.
The best bit was a ride on a tram and that's just a big old bus with a pantograph on the roof.
Not recommended at all.

 

Who every year and love it! If you go expecting a show, you will be sorely disappointed but who to meet up with people, have a mooch and drive around with grins on our faces. We have been in the beetle (newbie) and the van, but there's also porkers and lots of other vws. Nice day out, good little campsite next door. Shame we'll miss it this year, but next year...

Definitely not a show, but plenty of buses to look at! Like Moira said, a good place to meet up with folks. We will miss it this year too ....
