My new toy

I have been after a golf r32 for many years and have finally been able to afford one and so have been looking around for some time and this came up and I fell in love with it!
It has been fitted with newman 264 cams and milltek manifolds and a non resonated cat back exhaust on it and it sounds amazing! and is running just shy of 280 bhp!

 

Nice but where do you sleep in it

 

you could have put that money towards restoring the yellow rocket nice car though.

Definitely prefer the mk4 R32's - nice motor but just remember it accelerates a little quicker than the bus!

 

I sleep in the boot with a sleeping bag!

 

nice. my old man had a mk4 followed by a mk5. loved the koenig seats in the mk4

 

I could have put the money towards the van but this has been in the pipeline since before the van and will hold its money and plus it makes a awesome sound!!

 

I prefer the mk4 and I was after one with the half leather but alot of them had been upgraded to the full leather

 

yeah, the old mans mk4 was half, very nice interior. the mk4 was more "raw" and rode hard compared to the more luxurious/comfy mk5. i liked them both for different reasons but at the time i actually ran a mk5 gti myself - performed the same, cost less to run which was a big factor as i was doing a lot of miles. if i was choosing one now though and didn't do big miles i'd go for the 32 just for the noise it makes

 

So it doesent sound like a golf?

If you are coming down to techenders you might see it as my tax runs out on the van the weekend before!

 

how can your tax run out the weekend before? techenders is 27th sept weekend....... gives those that sorn from oct 1 the last camp of the year.
