    No that's the daily mail.

do it for children in need, plenty of time (november) and they do regional broadcasts on telly plus national coverage, they probably have a press office to advise or guide on the best approach.

Im in need and my mother's child. :)

  5. Sounds great fun!

  6. Definitely something national, or we'll end up having a "who's got the best local hospice" competition on here...

And of course Children in Need would give us the best possible chance of getting on the telly!

  7. Having just seen the local news with hospitals, police and schools in special measures I'd say Notts!
I'm game on to cover the third world county.

  8. What about the batton, how ahout a jar of special air, say from oxygen thing at hospital, sealed up, and transported in our fridges, ie cooled air relay in an air cooled. Ok l m daft.

As a baton I'm thinking about an olde worlde scroll. I could make one and then it could be signed by each carrier and stamped by each dealership.

    Its got legs that.

  12. Or an empty jar, and we all trump into it, then deliver it to No. 10, and asked Mr.Cameron to smell his subjects.

  13. If we have a van by the time this gets going count us I'm for Cheshire or for the press side at the least - I'm a freelance journalist.

As for charities I think Childline are struggling at the moment.

But my Hospice IS better than yours! :p

  15. I am up for it too. Staffordshire here, near Ricky and moons. Oh, as long as my van is back from airteriors - I am an about 5 or 6 weeks off completion?

  16. Some charities skim some off and I want a bit of that action!

  17. It might be more of a photo opportunity for publicity etc if there was a convoy from county to county passing on the baton. Theres nothing better than a big line of campers.

  18. As usual its got into a thing about money so for that reason im happy to let who ever wants to run it , go ahead , ill still do a run but all this bickering over money n stuff does my head sorry .

  19. Is there a poll function on the forum so that we could nominate and decide charities by vote? I think its best to get this out of the way so that we can get back to focusing on developing what is a really good idea.
