They do drive nicer than a camper or bus, I guess it's a combination of it being lighter, less slab sided, quieter. It's a more car like driving experience I find. Only thing I really don't like is the rear window reflects into the rear view mirror at night, so it appears that you're being overtaken at the same time as a car is oncoming - quite unnerving!!
