  1. Yes mate, I've got one on my crossover. Good bits of kit, highly recommended.

    Mega simple to fit too.

I have heard good reports on them - one day I might fit one to the '73

  3. I've got one on my early van, feels so much better and I didn't think there was anything wrong before :)

  4. Cool anyone got any pics of a late bay kit fitted?

  5. Is there a version of this for RHD?

  6. Yes 2 of my M8's just bought them. :)

  7. Up to 75 Ish with the link bar under the bus
.if your link bar is in the cab then no .

  8. No, mine's a'73 with the link bar running along inside a tube on top of the cab floor. :(

  9. Oh no! A shiny toy for my bus I don't own yet.........just ordered one. Phew!

  10. Not fitted one myself but if it's bits from butty they will be spot on. I've had a few off his bits in the past and they are good. When I finally put my front suspension back onto te spit screen that's one off my to do jobs throttle pedal from butty.

Just search on the split screen club there's nothing but god said about him.

  11. One of the best things I've fitted to my bus  The difference is unbelievable :)

  14. Whoops slight typo error. Well spotted.

But then it is the split screen club.

  15. yes, i'm pretty sure that i got that one, because i've got an early crossover with the low lights.

however, his customer service is bang on too. so if you're unsure of what you need just contact him & send him pictures of what set up you've got underneath, then he'll let you know what kit you want & send it out.

in all honesty i was surprised at the difference it made once it was fitted.

  16. Yes, it's very good. Not rocket science, just a properly engineered version of what was originally installed. It makes a huge difference having a pedal action free from sticktion.

  19. Sorry to threadjack

I've got a 72/73 RHD, the accelerator operates a lever, connected to a rod - which goes through a tube at the bottom of the steering column inside the bus (sounds like @baybirmingham set up).....it works ok....but should I also have a spring under the bus as well as the spring under the pedal? ....are there any improvements to be made?

    this is the one...

surely its not just the spring under the pedal and the spring on the carb that brings the pedal back up is it?
