Seat belt woes,

I’m currently cruising around Scotland and one of our seat belts has decided that it doesn’t want to retract anymore. We can sort of live with it for a bit but as we’re up her for a few more weeks I’d like to get a new one.
They’ve got them in stock at Just Kampers. Once I’ve bought it I’d need is someone to let me have it delivered to their address and I could pick it up from them and fit it myself.
Currently we’re just heading onto Skye from Mallaig and we’ll be leaving via the Skye bridge and then heading roughly towards Inverness/ Black Isle direction.
If anyone in that general area would be willing to let me use their address I would be most grateful.

If you buy on Amazon you can use the delivery boxes and collect with a code

 

You can also have delivered to a post office for collection the service is called local collect

 

Yes I thought about that but Amazon don’t sell the correct seatbelts. I even searched to see if Amazon sell Just Kampers stuff but couldn’t find any.
I’ll maybe give Just Kampers a ring and see if they’ll deliver to a post office and have a chat to the post office here and see how I go about arranging it.

 

I think JK have delivered to a camp site in the past.

Accelerator cable . After many many years of fabulous trouble free (read that as maintenance free) service decided to part company with it's better half just behind the fan housing ...
I always carry a spare so after limping to a campsite I fitted it - WAAAY too long with completely wrong nipples , possibly T25 ??
At a push I could have cobbled something together but gave JK a call and the correct cable arrived the next day - at the campsite...

JK have their faults but in this case - fabulous

PS The generic EMPI throttle cable is good as a spare.

 

I using my tie at the moment wrapped around the headrest, seems to be working ok at the moment.

 

Do it up nice and tight!
