Got the first earlies in, keeping a few back to start in a fortnight. Then will start chitting the maincrops for planting out sometime in May. We’ve bought online from Victoriana Nursery Gardens in the past for our seed spuds and other veg but they didn’t go so great last year so just got some from our local garden centre. Fingers crossed. Really love this part of the year, getting the garden sorted and stuff planted out. Jeez, how Rock n Roll eh? :D

I normally get mine from the little nursery near to where I work - they do everything loose by weight, so I usually buy pea seeds, broad and runner beans, onion sets, seed potatoes , it's great.... but having asked about seed potatoes everywhere I went with no joy, and then finally getting a chance to get along to 'Gilberts', they'd closed their gates for the ol' Corona virus. Damn and blast!
