    I went to Hendon about a million years ago. The thing that impressed me most was one of the Blue Steel air to ground nuclear tipped missiles. If it was that big, then the plane that carried it must have been massive..
    At the time, Vulcan bombers were not museum pieces.

    Spent a LOT if time by that stretch of the river in the '70s ...
    That horrible red brick job on the left hand end of the millennium bridge is the "new" school build that got delayed by over seven years because they found a load of Roman era stuff in the ground.
    Never got to be there :rolleyes: but the "old" school was in a good spot by Blackfriars bridge, so no complaints.
    Got to watch the newsprint being loaded in Fleet Street before the Wapping days :thumbsup:
