Looks like he just piled out into the A road to me! I could be wrong, but it looks that way. Driving at 97 is okay if you only drive on the miles of road you own, but public roads?
I don't think he gave his details to the other driver ,an offence for sure.He probably get 6 points and a driving safely course,. Have you come far and do you still use spears Just saying
I wonder if he was breathalysed as normally happens at a accident. Personally I think everyone should have to take a test every 10 years when you renew your license.
I've never been that fast in my bay, i suspect it could be quiet scary O sorry didn't read first thread properly !
That is the exact speed I got done for speeding back in 1995! I think I bought my first Bay not long after, so it never happened again.
It could be a wake up call . Reactions needed just to walk on the pavement these days are ............. Glad all are ok it could have been a lot worse !
I am 70+ and hearing, eyesight and reaction speed and decision making are getting slower. I have neighbours in their 80's who still drive, their eyesight is not what it was and hearing almost gone completely and they are very slow and find it hard to get in and out of their car. But they still drive. at what point do you give up driving. My sister in law age 82 had an accident last year which was her fault, she misjudged how close she was to parked cars. Sensibly she has sold her car and given up driving.
We have a deaf friend that has driven all her life , I can’t imagine what it’s like to drive being deaf .
