looks like it bolts to the side panel.

The side unit is held in with about 4 self tappers..

 

Took my bus to work. saw one Beetle at lunch time.

 

Loaded it up.
Off camping on Dartmoor for a week then who knows for another week.

 

Thanks @mikedjames I’ll take a look. The seating that was in the bus is slowly being removed to be replaced with the og furniture that was sold with the bus. There was nothing attached

Drove it from Southampton to Bristol. Then up through Cheddar Gorge to the CCC Priddy campsite. Last time we were here it was -1 and we hid in the bus with the heater on.

Now considering raiding the encampment, playing capture the flag and sticking a 7mm bit of tinfoil on his satellite LNB...
Yes there are potted plants outside the awning..and a garden fence ..

 

Now fitted and in situ.
Much smoother on the road and almost like a modern Micra.....

You might raise the bar a little higher than a Micra...

 

Took it out with the bike yesterday. Had a nice ride around Bewl Water, where I spotted a bay with the reg T2xx BAY.
Nice plates!
Then on my way to a campsite at Alfriston (seems Isle of Wight is fully booked) the throttle started sticking open. Most annoying having to lift it with my toe every time!
On to the campsite which was absolutely rammed. Seems all the crusties that didn’t go to the Isle of Wight had gathered to celebrate the summer solstice so I sodded off home.
Tinkered with the throttle linkage today, need a new pedal link.
