Looking to buy a panel van

Discussion in 'Introduce Yourselves' started by Miles, Feb 16, 2018.

  1. Hi guys,
I havent been on this forum for a long long time but I'm looking for some advice! I'm looking to buy a panel van for work so I don't need anything in the rear but plenty of space....there are a few on ebay but all of them a long way away. I was just wondering if anybody has been to look at the black panel van on there at the moment. It looks nice (if not a little rough rough the edges but I'm not too worried about that) nut to save me a trip down to Warfield if anybody has looked at it what did they think?
After speaking to a fellow VW fan and having a serious look at the pics, it seems that this bus may be hiding a few hidden issues.
Maybe this is a bit of a underhand way of doing things but I'm trying to save myself a wasted journey.
    Thanks, Miles

    Where is Warfield?
Be easier just to ask if anyone nearby would go and look at it for you, I've done that for people before but I'm in Cheshire

What we need is a members map :p

  7. @Miles Never look at it as a waisted journey , looking at a few will give you an idea of what you get for your money , it’s good to take advice too but you need to know how much YOU want to spend and what you really want and like . Good luck with your search and when you think you’ve found what you want then get someone with the knowledge to look over it with you so that he or she can point things out .I think good panels are quite hard to find . Their have been a few for sale on here so happy hunting and have a good look !!!

  11. Thanks for your replies. I asked the guy for more pics which he very kindly sent over. I decided against it in the end. The search continues.....

  12. Be careful of LHD panel vans.

Visibility makes them a nightmare on British roads
